Wakisaka Yurika (ワキサカユリカ), now known as just Yurika, (友里加), is a Japanese singer and dancer. She was a first-generation member of BiS from 2012 to 2013.
As of 2021, she is the vocalist and dancer of Aglet.
Biography[]
2012[]
On April 15th, Wakisaka Yurika joined BiS alongside Michibayashi Rio. Like Terashima Yufu, they began their activities promoting the group's previous single, IDOL, despite not actually appearing on it.
On July 18th, Wakisaka's debut single, PPCC was released.
From October 10th to November 28th, Wakisaka Yurika voiced herself alongside other members of BiS in the anime Backstage idol story. Also on October 10th, Wakisaka Yurika's only studio album, IDOL is DEAD, was released.
On December 28th, she and Pour Lui attempted to run a 100km marathon, which they both failed. The strain from the marathon aggravated a pre-existing ankle condition Wakisaka had, which led to fewer performances and eventually, her graduation. The music video for hitoribochi documented the marathon.
2013[]
On February 7th, Wakisaka Yurika announced her graduation from BiS, having been finding performances more and more difficult with her ankle condition.
Wakisaka Yurika's final single, BiSimulation, was released on March 13th. The single was dedicated to her time in BiS, with a limited edition cover showing only her face.
On March 16th, Wakisaka Yurika graduated from BiS at the ROAD TO BUDOKAN KOKUGIKAN "WHO KiLLED IDOL?" one man live and retired from entertainment.
2020[]
After a 7-year hiatus, Wakisaka Yurika re-emerged on Twitter in June. On June 30th, she announced her return to entertainment as a part of ASOBINEXT, a subsidiary of the ASOBISYSTEM agency.
On November 14th, Yurika unveiled an original song written by herself, "Kimi to Pyramid".
2021[]
On July 7th, Yurika joined the unit, Aglet, as its vocalist and dancer. Her groupmate, Hayashi Mitsuki, had appeared in her "Kimi to Pyramid" video the previous year. Their first performance will take place on August 28th, and their debut CD, Boku wa Shikishi, will also be sold.

- Despite what her nickname would have you believe, WACK was unfortunately not named after Wakisaka.
- Was just one of two former BiS members whose official reason for graduation was a health condition, the other being Momoland who left because of fatigue in 2018.
